Crispy the Cat

Crispy the Cat is a simple virtual pet game. that can be played with the mouse.

Story

You receive a note at your house with nothing but an address and "Please take care of Crispy" below that address. Against your better judgement, you go to that address and find a house with just a cat in it. Crispy, perhaps? Better take care of him, then.

Basics

Crispy has six Needs: Hunger, Hygiene, Bladder, Energy, Fun, and Affection. His Mood will go up or down depending on how much the Needs are filled. Each Room can be used to help with a specific Need.

Rooms

• Hub - this is the main hallway. You can access the other rooms from here. You can also move the cursor over Crispy to pet him, granting Affection. All of Crispy's needs are shown at the top of the screen, and his overall Mood is at the bottom.
• Kitchen - if Crispy is hungry, grab some fish and throw it at him to feed him and fulfil his Hunger need.
• Washroom - Wash Crispy! Try to spray him with the shower nozzle to clean him up. But don't be surprised if he tries to get away! This room is good for keeping his Hygiene up.
• Litter Room - Crispy sometimes has to go potty, but that doesn't mean he has to like it! Use the litter box to help Crispy manage his Bladder. If the litter box is dirty, he can't use it, so make sure to pick up after him!
• Bedroom - Tell Crispy, "Good night," hope he sleeps tight, and don't let the Bedbugs bite him! Literally! Protect Crispy from bed bugs until his Energy is refilled.
• Playroom - Crispy loves mazes, but he loves yarn even more! Use your laser light to guide him through the maze and get the yarn at the bottom. He will have Fun no matter how well you do in the maze.

Hints

• When you feed Crispy, try to drop fish from a high height! The farther it has to fall to reach him, the more it cures his Hunger!
• The cleaner Crispy is, the faster he moves away from you when you try to shower him.
• If Crispy's Bladder is low enough when you enter, and the litterbox is clean, he will automatically use it. If his Bladder bar isn't that low, but it's not that high either, then you can click on the litterbox to help him use it.
• If a Bedbug reaches Crispy while he is sleeping, he will wake up, grumpy, and he will not gain any more Energy. Make sure you squish all the Bedbugs you find in the room so he can go back to sleep.
• Crispy will jump over small gaps in the Playroom when you hold the laser light far enough away from him. If he is running fast enough to jump, he will turn green.
• Try to get Crispy's Mood to 95%. You may find a pleasant surprise if you do!
